Camp Oljato is conveniently located for most Californians, just 5–6 hours from the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Los Angeles. Buses can be coordinated between troops for drop off and pick up or troops can carpool.

We also offer adult leader training and will adapt the training to demand. Training may include safe swim defence, safety afloat, introduction to outdoor leader skills, and climb on safely. Informally, camp is a great place to share tips, techniques and experiences with other leaders.

Over the past decade, Pacific Skyline Council has invested heavily in Camp Oljato's facilities. Recent investments include a new latrine, new rifle range, new archery range, new shotgun range, and replaced walkways. We encourage leaders to work on improvements as time allows.

If you need to connect to work, we have you covered. Wi-Fi is available in the central camp area. AT&T is available at the Stern Lodge, but Verizon covers the whole camp, The dining hall and family porch have electrical outlets and USB power ports.
